A design/build company is one that has the resources necessary to complete a landscape project from concept to final installation. We like to think of it as “one-stop shopping”. As a landscape design/build company, our designers are part of the team and work closely with our highly trained construction crew ensuring your complete satisfaction. Unlike some that contract design work separately, our artistic design expertise is readily available to work with you throughout the complete job process.
When you have your work designed and completed by Bestloc, you have a process that conveys the design to the construction site and allows a more hands on approach. There are fewer problems from the start and any problems that may appear are quickly resolved.
We operate in the Greater Toronto and Surrounding Areas. However, we will go anywhere depending on the size of the project.
No, we do not charge for estimates. All estimates are free.
We will gladly review your design and discuss it with you. At the initial consultation, we’ll discuss the best way to proceed to achieve the finished landscape you want.
Creating lasting, pleasing landscape projects is more than digging holes and stacking block. Every site has its own unique set of issues that need to be addressed. Solar orientation, drainage, grading, and many other conditions can have a dramatic impact on whether or not your finished project will stand the test of time and function as intended. In the course of preparing your design, we record and analyze all the issues that might affect the project including maintenance. With this information, we then create a design that, in the end, saves you money because we address these issues before the project begins.
Complete estimates can take anywhere from a day to a week depending on the scope of the project you have in mind, they are usually broken down into 2 or 3 visits.
1st visit: Your ideas, measurements and etc. are taken which we use to create your design.
2nd visit: After designs and price calculations are done, you are presented with the estimated cost and diagram of your project.
3rd visit: After your review of the estimate, a contract is drawn up and signed.
That all depends upon the time of year and the types of projects we’re currently working on. We can give you a realistic time frame during your initial consultation.
No you’re not. When we present the master plan to you, we also present an estimate time to complete the project as drawn. If you need to look at installing the project in phases based on your timeline and budget, we can do that.
Yes! Watering is vital for establishing newly planted trees and shrubs. However, over-watering is a common mistake that forces oxygen out of the soil around the roots and can lead to death of a shrubs and trees. A good indication of too much water is yellowing of the foliage that develops first on the inside leaves and progresses to outer leaves. Of course every plant is different, so it is important to find out the correct guidelines for your specific plants.
All of our projects are backed up with a 24 month warranty.
